Is it normal for the ALPLO battery to become hot during charging?
Ni-MH batteries (such as ALP) sometimes reach temperatures of 50 degrees Celsius (hot), which is normal manifestation. In order to prevent the battery temperature from becoming too high, our Ailepp chargers are equipped with a temperature protection circuit. After charging is complete, wait for the battery to cool before using it. If the battery becomes abnormally hot, the battery may have failed.
Can ALPLO batteries be used in diving equipment?
Please note that even if the device is sealed, do not use rechargeable Ni-MH batteries (including ALPLO). This type of device does not stop discharging. If multiple batteries are used at the same time, the battery may be over discharged. This in turn will cause hydrogen to be generated inside the battery. Due to the sealed design of the device, the gas cannot be eliminated. These flammable gases may cause an explosion when the device is started.
Can I use other brands of chargers to charge ALPLO batteries?
